Trying to help a friend remove this virus. Vista. White screen with message in safe mode, task manager disabled.

Have run Farbar and attached log file, any help appreciated!

Attached is fixlist.txt

• Save fixlist.txt to your flash drive.
• You should now have both fixlist.txt and FRST.exe on your flash drive.

Now re-enter System Recovery Options.
Run FRST and press the Fix button just once and wait.
The tool will make a log on the flashdrive (Fixlog.txt).
Please attach this to your next message. (How to attach)

Now attempt to boot normally and remember to attach the Fixlog.txt.

 

Sorry, i jumped the gun and created my own fixlist.txt based on others (attached). Fixlog.txt is also attached.

Be careful with this tool as you can make problems even worse if used improperly. Luckily it does not look like you deleted anything that would be preventing a future boot problem but I want you to run my fixlist.txt too as you have multiple infections present in your logs.

 

Ok will go back into startup recovery and perform.

Is there particular malware software I should scan with later?
