Could you pelase help me - I think I've been hijacked.
I ahve gone through each fo the steps outlined in your forum to celan the machine:
Ccleaner, windows malicious software removal, adaware, spybot, counter spy, bitdefender.
I have also attached a hijack file for you.
Thank you for help - much appreciated!!!

ps - problem is very slow ruunning, messy computer which crashes. Did notice DrWatsons debugger popping up which although ti is said to be a wondows debugging program has also been sadi to have a hijacking thing attached to it which I think might be the problem.

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

I see you did not run Windows Defender but used CounterSpy. Did you have a problem with Windows Defender? Please explain. The READ ME reuqests that you attach the log from CounterSpy. Please attach it.

You must complete ALL of step 6 in the READ ME and you must attach both logs from the online scanners as requested. You only ran Bitdefender but did not attach that log either.

You also skipped step 3 of the READ ME. You have AVG7 and CA\eTrust Vet Antivirus running. Uninstall one as instructed. This alone will cause your PC to slow down.

Is SpywareDoctor a paid or trial version?

You also have SpySweeper install. Is it a paid or trial version?

I'm assuming CounterSpy is the trial version from the READ ME. Is this true?

    Thank you for your help.

I have removed Avg - I was using it as a firewall but realise that it has anti-virus too.

Bitdefender didn't find anything so I didn't send a log. It is now attached.

Windows defender wanted me to register the computer but this version of xp is from my computer guy and I don't think I can register it. So I did CounterSpy (which I downloaded off the internet but I don't think through your link in the end - is this a problem? I also don't think the computer was in safe mode when I ran it but it was for the other programmes.)

    I've attached the counterspy file.

Spyware doctor is trial version (I accidentally downloaded and ran it, the same as the Registry Mechanic when I was meant to be downloading CounterSpy - the linking system had me confused) and spysweeper is paid version.

Thank you once again for your help.

Attached is the panda file too.

    Cheers,
    Bronwen

Okay but now you will need to install a firewall application like we mention in step 3 of: How to Protect yourself from malware!

Since you have a license version of Spy Sweeper, it would be best if you uninstalled SpywareDoctor and CounterSpy. Having all three of those running is a drain on system resources and can cause conflicts.

After uninstalling those, attach a new HJT log and tell me how things are running now.

You're log is clean! If you are still having problems, explain exactly what they are but based on what I have seen there is no malware to be concerned with.
