PLZ help! :( DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL

    I'm having this freaking problem for a few weeks now... I had this computer for 3 years now for gaming, but lately it is impossible to game any more...

    Whenever I start call of duty black ops..boom.. BSOD..

    Sometimes when I play fifa 11..boom..BSOD

    Even when I'm browsing..BOOM>>>BSOD

    This problem appears when using heavier programs ( like a shooter)

    Is there anyone who can help?? plz, because I can't game atm...

    I don't know if this is hardware related as well..

    Hi

    What are your PC specs as in Motherboard, CPU, RAM, GPU etc or if its a OEM build one like Dell, ACER, HP etc then waht model?

    Can you attach the mini dump file as per the Guide HERE instructions for attaching are at the end of both guides in that thread.

    Did you update from a previous Windows version to Windows 7 or was this PC build especially for Windows 7 with compatible hardware and drivers? if it was an upgrade did you check that your hardware was compatible first using the Upgrade advisor app

    Are all drivers Windows 7 compatible ones and you haev no yellow ! marks in Device Manager? if you have any please tell us what they are,

    HP Pavilion a6442
    Motherboard: no idea
    CPU: Intel core 2 quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40Ghz
    RAM: 4*1GB
    GPU: Nvidia GT240 (changed this, the original one had another card)
    The original setup ran on windows vista, this new setup is running on windows 7 home premium. I did a clean install and used an OEM version.

    I cannot upload the minidump file because it says i don't have rights for it although I'm the only user(and admin) on my computer...

    I ran the update program and everything is fine except steam, which has a yellow mark, but that doesn't matter because other people easily play steam games on windows 7

    Uninstall all the version of MS Visual C++ and reinstall. I just had this problem and the folks at VPRVPN helped me solve it by doing the fresh install of C++.
