plz help this new user

    Can anyone plz help me....? I am from South Africa and have just bought my very first computer.....its an Acer travelmate 1.5ghz. I bought and set it up exactly 1 week ago today, and over the past week i have changed something somewhere that has started making it run all messed up and slow.

    Is there any <easy and user friendly> way of deleting or restoring it back to its origanal status...if there is a way to do such a thing....i would very much like to know about it...Thanks
