Police jail McDonald's employee over-salted burger​

UNION CITY, Ga. (AP) — A McDonald's employee spent a night in jail and is facing criminal charges because a police officer's burger was too salty, so salty that he says it made him sick.

Kendra Bull was arrested Friday, charged with misdemeanor reckless conduct and freed on $1,000 bail. Bull, 20, said she accidentally spilled salt on hamburger meat and told her supervisor and a co-worker, who "tried to thump the salt off." Click here to view entire article.

I saw something on a news report that he radioed it in as an assault on an officer and the police response included multiple jurisdictions.

 

I had one of these chicken things at McDs and it was so salty that I had to throw it out along with the first bite. It's just bad food, stupid cop!

I saw this today. Stupid. Employee messed up and spilled salt on meat. Informed supervisor. Burgers were still sold. Arrest the supervisor, not the salt spiller.

'Man this burger is too salty to eat. But I am going to keep on eating it untill I am sick. I want some rock salt for dessert.'

I know how it should turn out. The officer should be reprimanded for abusing his power.

Its not like the meat was dropped, or spit on. If it had been someone who hadn't been in law enforcement, they would have no criminal recourse against the employee, why should the cop?

Is he better than everyone else? What a load of crap.

 

Hmmm... Tomatos make me sick. So the next time the fast food place messes up and puts them on my burger, I will take a bite, get sick, have minimum wage employee arrested...

The more I think about it, the more it pisses me off. I think 'super cop' there should be suspended for a couple of weeks and be forced to put in a couple of 40 hour weeks at McD's.

I also feel prosecutors and judges who accept these type of cases should be dealt with for abuse of power.
I am sure Mcds' would have handled the complaint internally just fine. No need for the state/county to step in on this one.
