Political Cartoon

OK boys and girls...I need a little help finding a particular political cartton....It was shortly after 9/11 that I had seen a cartoon in the paper with the Statue of Liberty cradling a baby in her left arm and a very big pistol in her right...the caption read "nothing should ever come between a mother and her baby"....I have tried several of the bigger papers cartton sections from the past and some small independant ones...no luck...any help would be much appreciated...

I was following the links, and it looks like it was a t-shirt at one point, but the artist pulled it, because she "no longer can support the current American political climate"

I was thinking the same thing, that it would make a great t-shirt.

 

I read the same thing.....I agree it would make a great t-shirt....The only issue I can see is that of copyright....I am not sure how that would work....

BTW, How are you, the kids and eric doing....said my prayers for you, I did....

I think it's finally starting to hit me that my Dad's gone. I just didn't really have time to grieve while everything else was going on. I keep finding myself thinking, "Dad would really have loved that" or "I wish I could tell Dad about this". I've been calling my Mom every couple of days just to check up on her. She's keeping busy, going out whenever she's invited. I'm really proud of her. It's been hard for her to sit in the family room though. She and my Dad had matching recliners right next to eachother and they would sit every night and watch TV. Mom said she just can't bring herself to sit in there to watch TV. She's set up shop in Dad's den, and has been taking over his desk. I'm sure she'll leave the decor the way it is though.

Eric is doing well. Was just writing a new song last night. I like it, but I'm not sure whether it's Crossing material or not. We'll see what everyone else thinks when he shares it with them. He's really excited about their tour in May. Going over to England. There was even talk about going to Norway, but I don't think that's working out. Would turn the 2 week tour into a 3 week tour, and Jennifer's got 3 small kids.

Keep those prayers coming if you think of it, Eric and I are still playing catch up in some ways, that whole thing was really stressful on the two of us.

 

I certainly will.....I hope you get the time you need to deal with it all....It will help a lot.....
