Pop up problem

Hey everyone I really hope you can help me out. I use Mozilla Firefox and every other minute I will get a pop up. Sometimes I come back from a class and there will be almost thirty different pop ups on my computer it really annoying. I have tried different pop up blockers from downloads.com but nothing seems to work. So i was wondering if there was a certain pop up blocker you guys would suggest I buy or download. Thanks for all the help!

 

I'd be concerned, because Firefox has a built in popup blocker.

Have a read of the READ & RUN ME FIRST before going any further. I'm convinced you have a spyware problem.

 

Thanks for the advice. I also just remembered that the pop ups come as internet explorer pop ups. I hope that helps too, because i do have internet explorer on my computer but i only use it once a week for a class i have. Thanks again!

 

I agree with Viprgts777, it sounds like malware.
Is your pop-up blocker turned on, on the "Privacy" tab of "Internet Properties"?

 

The pop up blocker is turned on in "Internet Properties". I have also read the malware thread and deleted a ton of thing on my computer from the list it gave me. Since then i have not gotten a single pop up. I think that helped a ton. Thanks for everything!
