    Hello everyone,
In the past I have tried to “manage” my virus problems solo...but now I think I am going to ask for some help. My computer has been running slow and it is really frustrating. My laptop is running Windows XP: Home Edition.

As of late, Internet Explorer has been hijacked with pop-ups that track what I do. So like, if I search something in a search engine, then 2ish minutes later a pop-up will show a random website with the search results from what I searched previously. I don’t ever use internet explorer, I use Mozilla for my web browser. Honestly if there were a way to permanently delete Internet Explorer, I would do it in a heartbeat because it seems that it is the source of all evil lol.

Besides the internet explorer problem…I am positive that I have at least one more virus if not a lot more. And looking at my log just raises more concerns.

I hope that we can get some of the problems fixed, and I just want to say that I really do appreciate all your help, time, and efforts.
    Thanks, Shane

My HijackThis log file is attached.
