Pop ups

Can someone tell me how to get rid of strange pop-ups that come out every minute or two...even though I am on some safe and famigliar site? I tried with IE Anty spyware + Ad Aware...but it doesn't help. I also switched to Firefox but it still pop ups....huge help needed! thanx in advance...

make sure firefox is blocking pop ups. and download spybot http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html
used with adaware this gives you a good free way of blocking most spyware and blockups. i use these and never get any.
another problem may be your isp, some actually let this crap on your pc. if you have aol then this could easily be the problem... aol=spyware

 

forgot to mention be careful which antispyware you use some even has its own spyware. spybot and adaware are fine
