Popup Ad Every night around 1am

    So a new tab in firefox opens every night around 1 am. Sometimes it goes to some VLC update download (which is not from the actual VLC player as the domain is a weird one and clearly it's something that pretends to be a VLC "update" download. Other times it goes to a music video or some other advertisement.

    I have tried running everything on the sticky, but there is no way to know if it's gone or not until tomorrow night... I have failed trying everything since Saturday.

    Does this sound familiar to anyone? Anyone have any idea what it is? I fear that there is no way to know if I have gotten rid of it unless someone else knows what's going on and how to kill this particular nu science!
