Popupsearches hell

Hello there:

I need some serious help as I cannot get rid of 'Popupsearches''. Everytime I use Google it comes up. I have tried the Adware SE removal program and it did not pick it up. I have installed Hijack as your site requeested. I have read the Faq posted by Major Attitude I and have the requested Hijack log file.

Please follow the steps below:

- Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

- Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans? Were you unable to download any of the tools? Did you do the on-line scans as suggested?

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:

When I run "services msc" without the quotes of course, nothing pops up to tell me what services I am running. I am running Windows XP. Any ideas how to proceed.

OK...skip that previous post....I was able to access services through the Help Menu.
