    Hello,
After running Malwarebytes, a temp file clearer and ERUNT I was able to get rid of the major 'Desktop Antivirus' problems I was having. Now IE, Opera and Safari will not access in the Internet due to 'HTTP port 80, HTTPS port 443 and FTP port 21' issues. I can access via Firefox.
What do I need to do to restore those browsers?
Somewhere I think I read someone with similar problems was told they may still have some bug problems.
    Any suggestions appreciated.

Well, I kept looking around and found - -
1.Control Panel > internet options & click on the connections tab
2.then click on LAN settings & unclick everything.
    3. And then click apply & ok.
    Tried it and IE works.
My question is - was this the RIGHT thing to do?

Yes that was ok to do. Perhaps you unchecked a proxy that could have been used by the malware that was on your machine. Sometimes this happens. If you wish to check for any possible remaining malware then please see the below and follow the general procedures:
