porting users to 64-bit...how will ms handle this?

    Does anyone have a link to an article, anything, that tells us how ms plans on having its users upgrade to x64, as in will they require a clean install or if there is some upgrade process that they will use? Currently to go from xp to xp x64, a clean install is required, so I'm curious here as to what MS will do with the general users.

    Don't you mean Vista? When going from one OS to the next, it is always better to do a "Clean Install", then a Upgrade.
