POS dell laptop making me mad

hey guys, i have this dell latitude cpx h500gt that i have windows 2000 xp home sp1 running on it. it likes to freeze up on my or give me the blue screen. anyone know how i can fix this? i have already gone to windows and they said something with RAM. but they give me no option to fix it or anything so i am at a loss and hope ya'll can help me out. thanks guys.

What OS are you running windows 2000 or XP home or Both??

Do you get error message if so what, post exact message.

What do you mean when you said " i have already gone to windows and they said something with RAM" can you be more specific, was it web page, post it.

Could be memory problem, check to see if seated properly, on the bottom is access pannel, pop it open and check, there are two slots.

Your laptop run's sometimes, might run memory test program.

I also have cpx h500gt laptop running windows 2000pro service pack4 latest bios, 256mb ram. ( it dosent run too bad for old unit )
