Possible Infection

Good Morning,

At start-up last Friday, windows pop-up warned that two Trojan files were found. Ran scans as directed on Friday. TDSSkiller did not find anything, so no log to attach.

Only odd behavior is a higher than ususal RAM usage - peaking at 70% and higher - normally 40-50%. Have noticed that CCleaner finds lots of IE and Edge temp files, even though Firefox is default browser. Windows 10 issue? Probably reason for high RAM usage? This is usual behavior that I finally noticed due to trojan file warnings?

Had ASC Ultimate which included virus - but somehow managed to switch back to Pro - so I guess no virus protection. Cannot get BitFefender-free to install this am due to "unspecified error".

Re run Hitman Pro, enable/activate the free trial, and let it remove all that it finds.

Re run Malware Bytes and let it remove what it finds. Your log you uploaded shows no action was taken.

Once done, re run RogueKiller again and upload new log.

Then do this:

Run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. (Right click and run as admin if using Vista, Windows7 or Win8) Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this.

Forgot to add System and Compressed usage has become excessive. Now frequently find RAM at 70%, whereas as late as last week 40-50% was the norm.
