    Two nights ago I installed avi-to-mpg to try and encode mp4 files to mpeg2 so I could stream to my tv.
    Almost immediately I had issues with pop ups from Bubble dock.
    I did not see prompt to ask if I wanted to install bubble dock when adding avi to mpg.

    I went to control panel and removed it, along with 1-2 other new items I did not install.

    The next day I found that I could not access google. and I was having so other pop ups redirects.

    I tried to run malwarebytes but it did not start.

    I then started to follow the procedures in guide.

    Malwarebytes would not install kept coming up with runtime error.

    After trying a few time I gave up on this. I also found another item in add remove programs for re-market which I unistalled, Google access then returned. however malwarebytes still not working.

    Rerun Hitman and have it fix everything it finds.

    Then rerun RogueKiller and have it fix these items:

    Code:
    ¤¤¤ Registry Entries : 8 ¤¤¤
    [PROXY IE][PUM] HKCU\[...]\Internet Settings : ProxyServer (hxxp=127.0.0.1:13828 [Country: (Private Address) (XX), City: (Private Address)]) -> FOUND
    [PROXY IE][PUM] HKCU\[...]\Internet Settings : ProxyEnable (1) -> FOUND

    Code:

    [V2][SUSP PATH] EPUpdater : C:\Users\Colm\AppData\Roaming\BABSOL~1\Shared\BabMaint.exe [7] -> FOUND
    Code:

    [ZeroAccess][Folder] Install : C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Desktop\Install [-] --> FOUND
    Reboot and rescan with both Hitman and RogueKiller and attach the two new logs.

    Be sure to tell me how things are running now.

    Thanks Tim
    removed and rescanned, new logs attached, Malwarebytes still giving error on attempt to install.

    Rougekiller did not have zero access button to remove the items so think I have actioned the ones you highlighted.

    Thanks

    I don't understand. Why could you not remove the items in RogueKiller?

    You can pursue that issue in the software forum.

    If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.

    After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
