My Computer has become extremely sluggish when using certain programs, especially Microsoft Office. for example, it can take up to 5 minutes to save a word document or attach a doc to an outlook email. in addition, my internet browser is crashing and getting stuck a lot more frequently. I have noticed that a window will pop up every so often and the computer will make clicking sounds, but it disappears quickly. this is why i believe i have some sort of malware.

I ran the steps in the removal guide but am still having the same problems, and i have seen the phantom window pop up twice since finishing. i have attached all the logs. Your assistance is appreciated.

Your problems are not due to malware. Your logs are clean. You will need to work in the Software Forum and pursue potential problem areas with all the software you are running. Possible candidates:
    • McAfee
    • Roxio
    • Lenovo Rescue and Recovery
Uninstalling all of the above should make a big difference. If it does not, then you will have to look into possible hardware problems.

You can fix your clock from Control Panel ->Regional and Language Options and then on the Regional Options tab click the Customize button then on the next form click the Time tab. Then change the Time format to what you want. It explains there what the lower case and upper case letters will do. Upper case H is giving you 24 hour clock settings.

First I just wanted you to test to see what impact it may have been having. If it was not causing you any significant performance issues, you can reinstall it. Otherwise you could check out the below:

I uninstalled the other two items, and it seems that the everything is working fine now. Thank you for all your help.
