Hi folks, i recently have been noticing very strange behavior like notices of a repair pending but no repair needing attention found and after i install windows updates and reboot i get a screen that says cleaning up don't turn off your computer. Never had these things show before .

All scans that i have used like Tdss, Malwarebytes anti rootkit, Hitman Pro have come up empty so i'm thinking it's a deeper hidden issue.

I would like someone to take a serious look at the" MG Tools " log to see if they can find anything that looks odd.

The Mbam log showed no issues and i can't seem to get it to post but i may not need to .

As always your help is very much appreciated

You are not having malware problems. Your logs are clean.

Since you are not having malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

When i hit the MGcleanbat file and run as admin nothing disappears , is it supposed to ?

It appears i am mistaking my lack of computer knowledge with malware but i have a feeling i just need to become more familiar with what is considered normal and what's not considered normal .

I don't click on things and i rarely if ever use email , i don't download unfamiliar things and never visit porn sites or those other types of sites you mention that are malware breeding grounds.

It seems everytime i come here nothing is found so it must be me.

    Thanks again Chaslang

    You're welcome.
Yes a black command prompt window may flash by very quickly if you pay close attention but that is all. If the C:\MGtools folder is gone, it working properly.
