Possible Spyware Situation

    I'm not really sure if I have an issue with this new computer or not right now, so I want to make sure that there's no trouble. The only thing that's been confusing me is that I'll get a ton of unnecessary results on YouTube, which has me concerned about some possible spyware that might be on here. I'm on Windows 8 if that helps any.

    Checking a few of the programs shows a few issues that have been found, all in programs your guide recommended to do nothing with or ignore. I've attached the logs to see if this is a problem on my end or not.

    Not finding much in your logs. But go ahead and re-scan with RogueKiller and click the Registry tab and locate these detections::

    • [RUN][SUSP PATH] HKCU\[...]\Run : ClickfreeMonitor (c:\programdata\Clickfree\cfagent.exe) [7] -> FOUND
      [RUN][SUSP PATH] HKUS\S-1-5-21-2831931749-3833700357-1592384844-1002[...]\Run : ClickfreeMonitor (c:\programdata\Clickfree\cfagent.exe) [7] -> FOUND
      [Services][Rans.Gendarm] HKLM\[...]\ControlSet001\Services\CorelCreatorMessages ("C:\Windows\system32\CorelCreatorMessages.exe") [-] -> FOUND

    Place a checkmark each of these items, leave the others unchecked.
    Now press the Delete button.
    When it is finished, there will be a log on your desktop called: RKreport[2].txt
    Attach RKreport[2].txt to your next message. (How to attach)

    Then reboot and rescan with RogueKiller and attach that new log as well. Be sure to tell me how things are running.

    Things are running fine on here. I deleted what you told me to get rid of in the first scan, and the second scan after the reboot didn't find those issues the next time around as far as I know. Results are attached.

    It turns out that the issue I thought I had might very well be on YouTube's end as other users have been reporting this random search results bug.

    I'll wait for the okay now to finish the rest of the Read & Run Me stuff as well as thank you for your very timely assistance. Actually, I do have one question before this process is (hopefully) completed. Would you recommend Super Anti-Spyware for this computer? It worked great on the old one I had with XP, even if it was the free version. Don't know if it's compatible with Windows 8, though.

    Looks good.

    If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. You can uninstall RogueKiller and HitManPro.
    2. Go back to step 4 of the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista or Win 7, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
      related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link
