Possible WiFi Hack Using Wayport @ Micky D's

A couple of recent events brought me to Dell Customer service.

My motherboard was just replaced, along with the power button.

After the repair Windows mail and MS Outlook were failing to connect to their already established servers. We were able to get online and use OWA and access hotmail through the web.

I restarted the machine and received a black screen which stated the power cord didn't match the recommended wattage. I rebooted and hit F12 and ran the diagnostic. An error involving the optical drive was listed. Code 2000-0147.

I called Dell support since I am still under warranty and they asked me if I recently made a credit card payment on my computer. It so happens that I used the Wayport dot com service at McDonald's on my Thanksgiving trip. The person told me my computer was possibly hacked at that time and there could be spyware or another person accessing my information. They tried to upsell me the software coverage for $239, but I declined.

Sooooo, here I am with my logs. Most of the programs ran without a hitch, but there was a crash from RootRepeal.

Not sure if the Dell guy was on commission or if he's correct in his assessment. Not sure if the error messages were burps from the recent heart surgery.
