Lev, if you dont mind telling me, how do you get that cool lookin sidebar

 

Halo,

Yeah, I kept thinking it was driver related (vista) but finally realized it wasn't going to change.

I haven't tried detaching any of the gadgets, might go with that awhile.

this is the sidebar prog itself, have you tried intalling it?
I didn't have to install anything else to get it to work, but if you can't get it to work post you problem again. Oh also once installed it won't automatically run you have to go into start/ all programs /sidebar and start it there

How do you get the toenail clippings out of your keyboard Musk?

 

You saw that BB? Actually the clippers were there 'cause I just put new line on my fishing pole and re-rigged it. I have all kinds of stuff on the top shelf non-computer related. Knife sharpener, multi-tool, battery charger, cell phone, fishing pole in back, and who knows what else.

 

I had to change mine, I'm missing my SO. Unfortunately, the only picture I have of the two of us also includes one of our best friends, but at least I get to look at him every time I open my laptop until I get home from vacation.

 

I just figured you typed with your toes. It would explain alot.

Time for something not MS. My script isn't working right atm, but its Arch Linux (Duke).

 

Not tried Vista as yet but sidebar is pretty cool..........

And honestly people.......you don't need a cluttered screen full of shortcuts!! Get it tidy out there!!

I added "Object Dock" so I changed my desktop around.

My main PC has no flashy desktop - I turned all the bells and whistles off, and like Bugballou's it's a lean, mean machine.

Here is the desktop on one of the kids' old PC's down in the Pit . . . since they moved out it's been kinda lonely down there, so I fired it up just now to update its files. It seemed happy to see somebody, lol. This pic is from the Nasa site - it's an artists conception of two planetary sized objects crashing into each other.
