like through manage attachments? or do I have to upload it to something like photobucket and paste the link.

 

you can do either or vaio... Manage attachments lets you upload a max of 2 pictures of you can host it yourself (via Photobucket) and paste the URL inbetween the 2 IMG tags

Because organizing things like that is a symptom of OCD.

In my wallet, each bill has to face exactly the same way, with the ones in front, then fives, tens and so on.

hmm...I just thought I was a tidy, organized person...now you got me thinking

 

heres my current desktop.
For those wantin to know how to resize in MSpaint:
Image > stretch/skew
and just put in a % for vertical and horizontal. around 80% usually works out alright.
BTW, the picture is Machu Pichu in case anyone's wonderin....

 

still cant get it to work... comes out absolutely tiny.

 

Oh yeah, you DEFINITELY get used to it. I love this setup. I have all the folders that I normally use (this example my computer and desktop) as toolbars, so everything is just a click away (instead of an annoying double click; I'm lazy) As you can see, I have ALOT of network drives here, so it makes navigating our fileserver VERY easy. Heh, once I add the commmand here powertoy, this is an administrators dream!

Hello gang...this is my first post..thought I'd show my desktop design..took me all week to get it looking right.

Anyway, my wife wanted something like an acquarium...marbles or pearls on the bottom of the water. So I found a good underwater wallpaper pic....got some fish widgets swimming around onscreen from Desktop-X...then got my Photoshop open and made some pearls, and downloaded a plugin that let me save the images into .ico format. Finally I used an old programming code (alt-0160) to change the names of the shortcuts to blank spaces (no more ugly icon labels) and tweaked the registry a bit to remove those ugly little arrow overlays...and presto....swimming fish in an acquarium with pearl-shortcut icons.

So what format is everyone using? I used .jpg, this was the max size it allowed. Or are you using something other than attachments?

Mines just plain coloured at the moment but it did used to rotate through a folder of a couple of hundred 'select' wallpapers although apprently those images are not suitable for work

I didn't take the picture myself, I wish I did though! errr..its of Snake River, Grand National Park, Wyoming. I got it from Webshots, its neat little program (that's free) that Ive used sense it came out. I like it and highly recommend it.
