ok how do u put on your OS on here? mine's almost like yours Boccemon! i still like WinMe...going on an XP machine is almost like chinese to me....lol...but mines not compaq

 

me technically was the worst os ever made because it contained so many bugs and problems. but thast your opinion!

 

Click on "User CP" in the upper left hand corner of the top bar, then click on "edit signature", put what you need and saves changes...Done deal!! BTW: Welcome aboard, if I haven't said so before.

 

I won't argue, but Mine had been rock solid for years. Never had to format/re-install...never needed anything like Sp-2, I like it...and yes, that is my opinion.

 

can i ask where you get all the techy info from about your comp?

 

If you want to put a Shortcut on the desktop you first have to right click on the desktop click on New > Shortcut. Name the command line as follows.
C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe then hit next. Name it as Log Off or whatever you want. then hit Ok. Next Right click on the Shortcut and under the shortcut tab. Target it as

C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe -l

that is the Lower case L

if you want to have it as a restart shortcut instead of -l make it a -r and for shutdown -s

Change the Icon if you wish and hit ok. then all you have to do is click on it.

 

START > CONTROL PANEL > SYSTEM (Little icon that represents a PC System)

I use BelArc Advisor 6. It's a really cool program that shows you just about everything that is in your computer...and it's FREE. In my experience with WinME, BelArc seems to get along with ME better than most.You can D/L it here;

doesnt have it in any of the builds on the site in the configs/skins
