power adapter in other countries

    hello, tomorrow im going to purchase a sony vaio s150 and im going to be taking it to london in a couple weeks. i was wondering if anyone knows if i need any sort of power converter since ill be in another country. i need to write a paper and i dont think my battery life will last more than an hour or two. eeek!

    I think Britain, the rest of Europe and Australasia use 240/250 volts, while America uses 110/120 volts.

    hrmmm... i was hoping that the adapters are magical and do the converting for you. i guess thats just crazy talk, that is.

    A lot of adaptors are dual voltage, as in 110/120 and 240/250.

    Look on the power pack or adaptor label.
