I would like your input on this the guy from silverstone claims and these are exact words and misspellings "we don't recommend to use any PSU with our power supplies they will get damage This is the same situation for all PSUs even different brand ( manufactures).
The problem is cause by UPS sending square wave to PSU when AC is loss then the Bridge diode inside of PSU will convert square wave into PSU primary circuit. Therefore, the voltage cross on bulk capacitor will be near to Top of UPS square wave in continuously. For example, voltage on the top of square wave is 470V then PSU bulk capacitor cross voltage is near 470V. The 470V will damage the PSU bulk capacitor or other components in primary circuit since the rating of bulk capacitor is 200V * 2 pcs = 400V.
we recommend to plug our PSU straight to the wall power out-let it comes with very good protection and will protect your hardware in case of any event "
    and
"the Power supply is now going bad, a UPS will damage the PSU with the time so I would recommend to replace the PSU trough us and don't use your UPS to connect our PSU "

what do you think, i think hes just lieing through his teeth or doesnt know what he is talking about since i have been using UPS's for years and all the power supplies have been fine on the UPS's. What do you think?
