Power Supply

    Hello gentlemen.
    How can I find out what power suplly I have without taking the cover off?

    I don't think you can. I think you might be able to get some limited voltage readings using Everest or SpeedFan or some other system info/monitoring type of tool. I'm pretty sure there's no way to get the make or model or amps or wattage output without opening the case. Be sure everything is powered down and the main power cord has been unplugged for at least 2 minutes to be sure everything has discharged completely.

    Sometimes they are mounted upside down, so the sticker may be on the other side.

    If you pc is a big brand name, compaq, dell etc look on their website. All dells for instance have a p/n number on the outside of the case which you input into the query box on dells site. Dell will tell you about all the components from this.
    But it's generally easier to take the side off and read the label. Is it sealed with a 'warranty void if broken sticker'?
