Just wondering if there is anyway to know if a pu that comes with a case purchase will be okay, how do you test?? I can't afford to buy another case and a seperate pu so I was wondering if I could use the one that comes with it..It states 500 watts!!!, all I have now is 250 watt. I'm going to get a new video card so I want a new case to keep it cool. I have MSI P4 1.7 with XP, 80 gig HDD, geforce 3 ti 200

Usually PSUs that come with cases are pants, but there are exceptions. listen to the penguin ;)

Also most PSU's that come with cases are single fan units & are prone to overheating.
