I'm trying to post pictures of individual powerpoint slides online. I am able to upload pictures to the internet but can't figure how to turn a slide into a picture. I found the page about taking screenshots (Alt- Print Screen) on this site but when I tried it nothing happened. Are the screenshots going to some folder or something? I would really aprciate any advice on getting this to work.

(if it helps, I'm using Widows Xp)

If you do a print screen, the entire screen will be saved to the clipboard. You can then open the Microsoft Paint program (under accessories) and paste the clipboard. You can then save the resulting picture anywhere you like.

Print Screen saves the entire screen to clipboard.
Alt - Print Screen saves only the current window.

    you can also:
If the individual power slides have multiple objects ie.text box, clipart graph etc. you can choose select all and then group. right click on the mouse choose save picture as and be sure to change the save as type at the bottom of the window.
