ppt to txt

Hi,

I have a PowerPoint file (ppt) and would like to extract the text as either, txt, doc, or rtf.

It will not save in these formats.

Is there a free utility, or another method?

Ps. Copying and pasting individual slides will take a long, due to the number of them.

OS is Vista, 32 bit
Word 2002
ppt (Kingston Presentation)

I have a ppt file, but it was made using Kingsoft Presentation.

The Save As option does not allow txt, doc, rtf, etc.

The Save As Handout option does not appear to be available either

There's several online converters that I found after a quick search, just search "powerpoint to doc" in google and you should be able to find a free online service that will take your file, convert it, and email the converted file to you.

I did try a few online convertors when I was looking for a package to download.

I found that some would not upload the file, and others only converted, say, 20% of the file

I will have a look at some links on the Google page and see if any will upload the file and convert the whole ppt to doc.

An additional problem may be the extraction of text within images that can form ppt slides
