Pregnancy is supposed to be a joyous time!

I know, I assumed they were doing the C section right away.

 

GOOD NEWS

Heather gave birth to a bonnie wee BOY at 6.30am tuesday, only after 2 more massive bleeds. The medical team were fantastic and within 10 minutes of the last bleed, had her whisked into the theatre and performed an emergency C-section. She lost 2 liters of blood, but baby was fine. Born at 36 weeks and weighed 6lb 9oz
I was called into the hospital at 1am because her condition had worsened, so I was with her up until the operation. I was not allowed in, obviously, and had the most nerve wrecking experience, just waiting to see if they would both survive.
I have been with them for most of the last 36 hours (sleep? whats that?!!) and they are both getting stronger every hour

We have named him Ryan, however my wife does not like the idea of his middle name being 'grumbles' roflmao

Thank heavens it's all over and everyone is ok. Can't wait to see pictures. Love the name Ryan one of my grandsons name. Good wishes to you all
