Preinstalled games for Win xp

The games that come preinstalled on a pc.... spider solitaire, regular solitaire, hearts and so on..... they have been deleted from my computer and I do not have the cd to reinstall from there. Does anyone know of a link I can go to, to reinstall those games? I would surely appreciate it.

If you were not given a MS XP install CD, a recovery XP CD from a builder/vendor (DELL etc) or the means to create your own (Compaq/HP etc), then you do not have a legal installation of WindowsXP.
Contact whoever you paid for your system and demand the disc you are "supposed" to have been given.
Eventually, you will need that disc or lose the OS altogether.

 

when i moved i lost the cd-windows xp is installed on my computer legally. there must be a link somewhere where i can go to reinstall the games on my computer.

 

No legal site distributes anything part of an application or OS made by MS.

They may not actually be gone...


Search your system for sol.exe and see if you find it.

 

the exe.sol file is gone. someone deleted the files. i have downloaded them from the internet before, but it was 2 years ago and i dont remember where. i wish i could remember. you'd think this would be easy to find and reinstall. its a simple solitaire game.

 

Unfortunately, we cannot assist you on this. MS doesn't take lightly to others downloaded parts of their software, unless its an MS site.
