Presorium Frontgate MX is a freeware email filter which I have been using without problems for years. Today, my PC Tools Firewall Plus threw up the following message (see attached screenshot):

"Presorium Email Filtering System is attempting to monitor and/or intercept Rapport Service events. This hook monitors keystroke messages. The hook procedure is associated with all exiisting threads running in the same desktop as the calling thread. Only allow this if you know the application is Safe."

The Rapport service is produced by Trusteer (www.trusteer.com) and is widely distributed by banks to reduce the risk of interception of passwords. Monitoring of keystrokes to that service would intercept financial passwords.

The Presorium website (www.presorium.com) is now just a link farm.

I haven't been able to find any mention of this issue using Google so I am posting this so that there is at least something for others to find. I am not looking for assistance, at least, not yet. We'll see how I get on with the uninstall.

On the other hand, if I'm jumping at shadows, perhaps someone could explain what is going on?

And thanks for all the work which goes into this site - you've got me out of trouble on more than one occasion.
