I must admit, I'm not feeling a strong affection for cats recently. The other night, I came back from a friend's house fairly late at night. As I got out of the car, I smelled a skunk nearby. I was looking around nervously as I walked to the back door, and out of nowhere a black and white cat streaked past me! I just about wet my pants right there.

 

LOL. Skunks take Theodore Roosevelt's favorite philosophy to heart: Walk softly and carry a big stink.


I can't afford to like cats too much. Every time I get around them (or visa versa) my eyes turn blood red, tear profusely, and hurt like they've got acid in them. When I moved in here, my neighbor had a tabby, kept mostly outdoors, that just LOVED me. Every time I came out it would head bump and rub up against me, purring like crazy. I couldn't resist petting it, and regretted it every single time. LOL.
