Previous downloaded Spybot..allowed TeaTimer

Hello, and thanks in advance for your help.

I'm brand new and hope I get this explained correctly.

I am going step by step through the Malware Removal Guide. I'm up to "Windows XP Cleaning Procedure". I've stopped at the part where I'm supposed to download some things, because it says to download Spybot but NOT to allow it to load Tea Timer.

Problem.... I've had Spybot for several years. Tea Timer is alive and kicking in my computer. What should I do now?

Thanks so much... Guess I jumped the gun, because I did figure out how to disable it, ran the whole XP cleaning procedure posted here, and "viola".... like new computer! :-D THANK YOU GEEKS!!!
