Will the new version of Prime95 (25.11) test all four cores of a i7 920 CPU at once ?
I'm new to OC and have never used Prime before, I have done some research on the web and it is all confusing as to whether or not this can happen -

    Thanks

    Hi

See no reason why it wouldnt as it normally tests all cores, on my laptop now and will test my desktop tomorrow which has a i7 920 but TBH just give it a whirl yourself and load and run RealTemp (sorry AMD users this app for Intel only) and you should see all 4 cores temps go up when running also have open Windows Task Manager and the Performance tab and all 4 cores should hit 100% CPU

The new version will/can stress all 4 cores, I believe all previous versions you would have to run 4 instances of Prime95 (one for each core)
