'Print and document' services won't turn on?

I go to Control Panel > Turn Windows Features On/Off > Print and Document and I continue to get an error. The default checks are in 'Internet Printing Client' and 'Windows Fax and Scan'. I've tried several times, reboot, and still get an error saying, "An error has occurred not all of the features were successfully changed." After the reboot nothing has changed.

I am running Windows 7, 64-bit.

Any suggestions?

Path from CP is Programs and Features then Turn Windows features on or off.
So you want to add checks to LPD Print Service and LPR Port Monitor?

I have done that but each time I get an error; An error has occurred not all of the features were successfully changed. Each time I select the printer box it does not work.

What does event viewer give ye? I'd check both applications and system.
