Printer, computer, or Me??

I have a small home network with 3 computers (2 desktops, 1 laptop) and suddenly the printer has decided not to work with any of the networked computers, only the Host computer can print. Up until 2 days ago, the second desktop could print directly to the printer, but now shows Unable to Connect in the status bar. I have checked to ensure the printersv.exe file is set to Automatic (it is), have disconnected the printer from the Host, rebooted the computer and plugged in the printer (no luck), and am at a loss for why it would suddenly not print from this computer.:confused

In addition, about 3 weeks back I had to restore my laptop to factory settings, and since have not been able to connect it to the printer either (prior to factory restore all was working OK). :cry

It does not appear that the driver has been updated with any recent Windows Updates that could/would cause incompatibility between the 3.

    Any suggestions??

    Thanks!
    Nancy :)

    Hi dlb~

Turns out the situation was as much the printer as Me. After reviewing your links, I decided to first delete the printer from each computer, then reinstalled. Everything is working fine now.:D

    Thank you for your suggestions!
