i recently installed windows 7 on a new computer and things have gone pretty smooth, just a few bugs to work out. one problem i'm having is the printer (hp 4400?) does not see or print web pages. it will print a test page and files. i think this is something simple, what am i missing? tia.

Have you installed the Windows 7 drivers for your printer? If not, first uninstall your current printer drivers and start fresh with the Windows 7 ones.

If that doesn't help, what happens when you try to print from the website? Do you get an error, or a garbled print, or nothing happens etc? Is the printer the default printer?

fyi- printing web pages with windows 7 ie8 64-bit

i posted a question a few days ago about a problem with my printer after installing windows 7. the printer would not see or print any web pages. well, after much head scratching, i talked to the IT guy at work. he says " printing is dependent on active x controls which aren't supported in ie8 64-bit, open page with ie8 32-bit. works like a charm.
