Printer Network problem- LMAAL2PI

I hope this is not a duplicate posting......
Hello again,
Once more I am forced to ask for your help... I cannot network a Lexmark E232 printer.
I get the error message " LMAAL2PI>EXE".
I have two HP printers networked and they work fine, but the E232 will not print.
I did download all the driver updates from lexmark.
I use the E232 wired to my pc, and wireless to a laptop. but the laptop will not print.
the Pc is Home Xp and the laptop is Win2000.
Any help is appreciated.
