printer not sharing

i have a problem with one computer on the network i'm thinking it's having to do with the OS but i want to get some more opinions on the whole ordeal. so i have a printer hooked directly into the network i have other computers that are sharing this printer and printing to it all the time and when i recently went to add the printer to a win 2k. which btw all my other ones are win xp. i was able to click and share on the printer and when i was going to add it to the win 2k computer it worked for the couple of hours and then it said that access to that printer was denied. i went and looked at the other shared computers and they were still working just fine. i'm thinking that it just has to do with the OS and not being compatible. But that's the first time that i've ran into the problem. any one have any second opinions. i just can't figure it out. oh i did go though and add all the same drivers as the win xp computers they were supposably compatible with win 2k also. i don't know what else to do other than not print with that computer.

 

well that's the thing i never have had to install any of the software on any computers that i have set printers to share from just install the drivers from them and then bam it works. the model is Hewlett Packard. and it's model is a laserjet 1505n. and it only seems to have problems on the win 2k computer. i installed the drivers completely and shared the printer on the other end the server computer and went to the other computer with win 2k and found it on the network and ran with it it will run fine for a couple of hours up to a day but then after that it will just stop sharing kind of like the print spooler just shut it self down
