Printer problem

Hi all.
I have a Epson r265.
I have a business envelope template.
Every time i print an envelope the printer wants to print it twice?
I have looked in the page set up, it says 1 copy.
The printer dialogue pops up and says 0/2?
What, why, how, anyone?

it actually prints the info twice? or you just have to send the envelope through a second time? So hit print once and if you put 2 envelopes in you get 2 printed out?

 

we have problems like this at work using various templates.... but a little more information would be helpful.... What program are you using to print? What exactly is happening? Is it printing 2 copies? Is it printing one copy and then spitting out a blank... Etc.

Right, the prog is publisher.
It is a template that i used with no problems whatsoever with my old epson c64 printer.
What happens is, i press print, it prints an envelope as requested and then tries to print a second one. If there was a envelope loaded it would print it.
Then up pops the 'paper not loaded correctly' box and i have to press cancel.
I have made sure that 1 copy only is selected but still the printer dialogue box pops up telling me it is going to print 2.
Even threatening it with a rusty spoon does no good. It still trys to print the second one.
