I just tried this on my PC (which has WINDOWS XP) so just see if it has the same menu for you. (sorry I tried it, it worked, started posting then remembered you had Windows 2000).

Right click on Start, go to explore, find the cookies file you want, left click on it (or just open it up), then go up to the top left and click on "file". I have "cookies" in the drop down menu with an arrow pointing right. Put cursor on the arrow and there's a choice of "send to" and I clicked on send to "my documents" and the whole file went to "my documents" folder.

If you don't get that choice in Windows 2000 maybe that rings a bell with you and you can think of another way to "send to my documents".

Having Win2000, following this doesn't seem to work for me. However, try this at a command prompt (Start/Programs/Accessories/Command Prompt):

    1. Go to the cookies folder - cd C:\Documents and Settings\username\Cookies

    2. Type the following w/o quotes - "dir *.* > c:\cookies.txt" (the ">" will redirect output to the file cookies.txt in your root directory)

    3. Using Notepad open this file in your root directory and then print it.

There are print utilities around that will do this as well, not familiar with them though.

So sorry, someone won't like that I posted something RE: WIN XP -- didn't think it would be that different.

Plus I thought there'd be something similar once you got to the same page, maybe not the same command but something similar.

Hope Ken3's advice works for you.

Pegg, I thought maybe your tip would've worked so I did try it. I got an error the first time, cause what it looked like I was attempting to do was Send To (i.e., move/copy) the cookie folder to the My Documents folder, instead of a listing of the cookie folder to the My Documents folder. If that is what worked for you in XP, then that is a new feature in XP (?) !!! The issue of being able to print a listing of one's directory/folder has been around since Windows 95, since there was no direct way to do it other than the tip I've provided.

On a second attempt today (Friday), it asked to move/copy the files and clicked "yes". The contents of the folder was copied over, but a file listing the contents of the folder was not produced.

    Hope this is clarified things.
