Printing MP3 list

Trying to print my MP3 list. I asked you this Question 10-17-02
Found old post but not reply. You suggested a program dir to file
or somthing like that. I got a new hard drive and formatted the old one and lost the program. This was a slick little bug free program. Would you still have any idea where to get it? Any help appreciated Thanks h2odave

 

I dont think this is the answer your looking for, but in winamp there is a "Generate HTML playlist" , and you could print that off.....

 

You could always go to a command prompt and cd to the dir. containing them.



Then,


dir >list.txt



list.txt will list the contents.

 

You can print file list from Powerdesk or Musicmatch Jukebox.
Once I came upon a plug-in or shell extension called Directory List (or something similar) which made it possible to print file lists from explorer (maybe it can be done without it - I don't know, for I am not using explorer).

 

Sorry to butt in on this, but I'm trying to print out my list too, but I can't find Generate HTML playlist in my WinAmp v3. Anybody that can tell me where to find it?

Start Run type CMD
navigate to where you keep the mp3s
cd c:\mydir
<where mydir is the full location of you MP3s>
IE C:\Kazaa\My Shared Folder
once there type this
dir *.mp3 > list.txt
that will create a file whos output is like this

Volume in drive C has no label.
Volume Serial Number is F0A7-653C

Directory of C:\My Shared Folder

Aurelius , That was the program, directory list (dirlist) It was a sweet little program, can't seem to find it any where. It was probably on that freeware "forrest " site thats no longer up and running. Not getting the html list for win amp either. Oh well the Quest continues

 

This proggie lets you generate mp3 lists and save them as HTML. Never used it myself though.
