Problem after problem?

    Hey guys im back once agian, i had a buddy give me a stick of 256 memory so i put it in, but my computer isnt picking it up for some reason? I was wondering what i have to do to be able to get it to read that i have another stick of 256 running? thanx

    need specifics ram type and manufacturer for both the one not running and the one you are also the card may be damaged.

    Provided that it is compatible...you don't have to do anything, other than install the module in the next open slot, and power it back up!! The system will take it from there!!
