Problem Because Firefoz No Longer Allows Javascript

I need to re-install MS Office on my PC. In order to do that I have to login to my Microsoft account. I cannot do this because Microsoft says you must have Java Script to sign-in. So, I did some research to find out how to get it. The problem I have is I use Mozilla Firefox as my browser because it is recommended by people on Majorgeeks as being better than other browsers. However, it seems Firefox no longer works with Java Script since version 52. Is there a way to work round this or am I going to need to choose to use another internet browser?

Perhaps you can explain this because I certainly cannot. When I posted my question I was having two issues with Firefox: the one I posted about and another. Today, I was going to click on your link to resolve my problem but noticed I was not having the other issue. Therefore, prior to trying your link I tried signing into two accounts which has not allowed me to sign in because of the Java-related problem. I can now sign into both. However, I have not clicked on your link, made no changes to Firefox's settings and had not updated Firefox. The problem is fixed without me having to do anything and I have absolutely no idea why or how.

 

It's one of those mysteries of PCs we cannot always explain.

The other day I opened a video clip I've had for some time and suffered a BSOD. After a restart, the video played.
