:eek:Hello! I am Marie from Brazil.
I usually use programs to download musik:K-LiteNitro,WinMx and LimeWire. But today LimeWire didn't work. so I tried to exclude it and download a new version. But it was not possible to download it and to exclude it. It appears a note: It is not possible to exclude clink.jar,it is using by another person or program. I think I have here a great trouble! Can you help me?

    Hello Marie,

In this forum we do not recommend or advise using any P2P programs and infact always recommend uninstalling them to help avoid malware problems. Especially programs related to Kazaa (which K-Lite is).

I don't know what you mean by you tried to "exclude" Limewire. Do you mean you tried to uninstall it?

What Windows OS are your using?

    Hello, Chaslang!
    Thank you for answer me!
    I use Windows XP.
Yes, I tried to uninstall Limewire, I forgot the right word because my english is not so good...
But I never had any problems with Limewire or K-lite, only now. I use Active Virus Shield. Maybe I have now problems with those programs because this Anti-virus is very good. It shows me WinMx as a Malware too. Today I have uninstalled it. What more can I do to make my computer faster and better?

So then you are saying you have a problem uninstalling Limewire and that it is still installed and you wish to uninstall it. If so, you can try using the below to uninstall it:

    Your Uninstaller! 2006

This is really not a topic for this forum. While Limewire is really not something we recommend using, the newer versions are not bundled with malware anymore.

That does not change the fact that using them can be dangerous and it is also why your software is detecting them.

Actually these are not topics for the Malware Forum. I recommend you post in the Software Forum for those questions. If you are having malware problems, you should run this sticky thread procedure:
