OK, I have to flash since I'm upgrading my rig with an AMD X2 3800 s939 as recommended by ASUS. I updated my chipset drivers to 6.65 first and then proceeded with the update program after killing all other running programs, I won't talk about the shoddy ASUS servers :mad , and then it just sat there for an hour after the dl.confused Anyways, I killed it and I'm back to square one. I'll put a floppy in here if I have to and go that route but I'd rather not ATM. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks all as always.

I dl'd the the BIOS zip file, unzipped it and put the .rom file in the C:\Program Files\ASUS\Update folder and installed it this way in about two minutes instead of the three hours I've screwing with this.:mad What an odyssey and totally unnecessary IMO! :banghead :celebrate Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be talking to you from X2 land.:) Time for a few beers. :)

Beer is good. Asus has the slowest and most unreliable web site on the planet.

These are two rules to live by.
