Problem installing SuperAntiSpyware

I've tried to install SuperAntiSpyware, but I'm getting an "Another Installation Is In progress" message...NOTHING that I am aware of is running....any suggestions? Malwarebytes is running as i speak....

Hi

Has this resolved itself now? if not I would do a reboot and then try as sometimes applications when installing need a reboot so that the previous one has finished, happens a fair bit with Windows updates, they are not complete until a reboot.

Hi Halo, Thanks for the info, SAS did finally load, and seems to be running great.
There was something curious about my previous tries however, the "another installation" that was blocking me was called HIPSCC, which I believe is associated with CA Security Suite 2009 and it's parental control. I have been trying to get rid of both, but can not seem to get rid of the parental control program, Any Ideas?

What Windows version you using? (just like to know what OS is used for any steps later if needed)

So you are wanting to completly remove CA security suite? and install a different Antivirus suite?

If wanting to get rid of CA then they have a removal tool HERE

But try this tool first to remove CA, in Revo Uninstaller then run CCleaner and its cleaner and registry tool, run the registry one until nothing is listed for removal, then run the above CA removal tool and hopefully its all gone.

Hi Halo, Thanks for the advice. Tried your suggestions and I am having no more problems, CA is finally GONE! Comp running faster, pages loading faster, I;m happy :-D
