Problem with a program called Sky Index

    The following is the information given for the error in Problem Reports and Solutions in the Control Panel. This is NOT the first time that this program has crashed. In fact, sometimes that I got an error message saying is stopped working, it wasn't even running. I'm trying to find the problem, or even a lead to finding the problem.

    Is there ANYTHING in this that can help me identify the problem? The program is used for buisness so this sort of thing cannot happen. Thankfully not much data was lost when the program crashed in-use, but it still should not be happening.

    I went to their web site, and found that they have a service pack for download, Service Pack 4. If you haven't installed it, maybe it will help: http://www.sky-software.com/Downloads/ServicePacks/IndexPro_v6/SP4.htm There's a long list of issues that it fixes. Here's a link to their support page: http://www.sky-software.com/Support/SupportOptions.htm Yeah, not much there, but maybe you can email them (???).

    BTW- I have never used (or even heard of) this program. I just thought I'd look into it for you. I have no life....

    lol.. Thanks. My mom(the one who owns and uses the software) has emailed the person, but he either didn't know what the issue was or wasn't given enough information to even guess. I will check in to that service pack though.

    Edit: I checked into it and we got the software after the release of the service pack, so it was included. I double checked anyway by going into the program, going to help, and then about, and looking at the version and service pack information there. If nothing comes up here, we will probably just email him again with most error information and see if he's able to identify the problem.
