problem with ATT Communciation Manager

I have a new Dell Inspirion with Vista which I loaded the software for ATT Communciation Manager to run a Sierra aircard. After software was successfully loaded - when I click on the application icon it immediately gives the "attcm.exe application error" Application failed to initialize properly. Code #0XC0150004. I have contacted AT&T, they say it is a Vista problem, and Dell says it is a software problem. I have unloaded and reloaded Vista and ATT Comm Mngr multiple times. Just need to figure out how to get G3 or other wireless access that does not require me to be inside or near a network.

 

Did you check if your firewall is blocking?

BTW, with ATT I find that unless you ask for a manager and request an upper level tech, you get nothing done. ATT techs are great (once you get to them).
